Corel Paint Shop Pro Serial Number Activation Code

Hello all. I have been using Paintshop Pro X2 for a couple of years. When I migrated to a new computer, I reloaded the program from disc and entered the serial number. A dialog box asked for my activation code, which I cannot find. Not on the old computer. Not in any email from Corel. Not on the disc jacket (my old failsafe). I called Corel support and they would only sell me a new edition, or route me to pay for help at $19.00. They could/would not help me activate on the new computer.

Thanks for your reply. Exactly. Yes, that is what I have already tried. I entered my serial number and then called the phone support. They act like they never knew me. Could not provide my activation code, nor issue me a new one. Glad to transfer me to the pay-for-support service, or sell me a new version! Hence my question: Is the activation code embedded somewhere on my old computer, so that I can retrieve it and activate the program on my new computer 153554b96e
